Pre-owned Rolex Daytona ref 116503 (2016 – 2023) hails from the first generation of in-house movements, caliber 4130. Previously, the Crown relied on the Zenith El Primero movement to power the Daytona.  That movement was replaced by the caliber 4130 in 2000, which remained the collection’s go-to engine until 2023 when it was upgraded via caliber 4131.
