Pre-owned Panerai Luminor Submersible ref PAM00684 (2018) officially known as the Luminor Submersible 1950 3 Days Automatic Oro Rosso 42mm, came to market back in 2017, and is a more wearable version of Panerai’s traditionally oversized dive watches. At 42mm, it sits noticeably smaller on the wrist than most Submersibles, while still delivering the brand’s unmistakable cushion-shaped case and oversized crown-protecting device. Furnished in 18k red gold, it pairs surprising warmth with tool-watch aesthetics, featuring a black ceramic diving bezel and an extensible rubber strap designed for active wear. Water resistance is rated to 100 meters, reinforcing its crossover appeal rather than its pure saturation-diving appeal. The matte black dial follows the classic Submersible layout with bold skeletonized hands, luminescent hour markers, a date at 3 o’clock, and a small seconds display at 9. Powering the watch is Panerai’s in-house caliber P.9010, a slimmer automatic movement with a 72-hour power reserve, a reinforced balance bridge, and a practical jumping hour hand for easy travel adjustments.
