Patek Philippe Complications 18k Rose Gold
Patek Philippe has been producing World Time watches since the 1930s, with ref. 5230 coming to market in 2016. While the collection was once available in several metal finishes, platinum is the only iteration that remains in production today – the rose gold ref. 5230R-012 for sale here was discontinued in 2022. You can buy the discontinued Patek Philippe World Time Complications ref. 5230R-012 today in excellent secondhand condition.
Powering the watch is the Patek caliber 240 HU automatic movement with 24 time zones and day/night indication. An innovative mechanism within the movement allows the wearer to simultaneously adjust each world time display in one-hour increments by pressing the button on the left side of the case. Despite being such a complex movement, it is still relatively thin, allowing the case to maintain a profile of just over 10mm. Other features include water resistance up to 30 meters, a two-tone dial with a circular hand-guilloched motif, and rose gold hour markers and hands to match the case. This pre-owned Patek wears on an elegant leather strap secured by a deployant buckle.
