Rolex Submariner 16800 Aluminum Bezel Insert

The Rolex Submariner came to market in the 1950s and is easily one of the most recognizable models in the brand’s catalog. Made famous by the likes of James Bond and Steve McQueen, it comes as no surprise that the Submariner is still the grail watch of many, even decades later. The reference 16800 is a very desirable collector’s item that bridges the gap between the 4-digit series and the modern Submariner as we know it today. It is often referred to as a “transitional Rolex” because it was the first Submariner to feature a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, 4Hz cal. 3035 movement, and 300-meter depth rating.

The watch is accompanied by a NFC enabled Rolex service warranty card (it works by putting next to a smart phone with NFC capabilities), which we have verified the serial number that pops up matches the watch.
