Used Rolex Submariner 116613 Blue Dial
Pre-owned Rolex Submariner ref 116613 (2018) was the first Yellow Rolesor Sub with a ceramic bezel. Before Rolex released 116613, the two-tone diver was produced under ref. 16613 with an aluminum bezel and pre-super case proportions. The case still measures the standard 40mm but is paired here with boxier, more robust lugs and larger crown guards, hence the name “Super” case. Additionally, to balance the case, the dial was upgraded to larger hour markers and wider hands, called the Maxi dial. The result was a watch with similar dimensions but a more robust look on the wrist. The blue dial and bezel, coupled with the steel-and-gold finish, are often called the “Rolex Bluesy” by collectors in the know.
