Pre-owned Rolex Submariner ref 116618 (2015) was the first full yellow gold Submariner to sport a ceramic bezel, replacing the aluminum-clad 16618 in the late 2000s.  With this series, the famed diver adopted a notably more contemporary aesthetic, swapping the previous 5-digit case for “Super Case” proportions with thicker lugs and larger crown guards, and displaying the time with larger “Maxi” hour markers and hands.  Aside from those upgrades, it remained a traditional Rolex diver, through and through.  The bezel is uni-directional for safer underwater timekeeping, the dial has legible luminous hour markers and hands, and the case is rated waterproof to 300 meters.  Cased here in 18k yellow gold, it certainly makes a bold statement on the wrist, no matter where you choose to wear it.
