The Omega Speedmaster is an iconic wristwatch with a rich history. Introduced in 1957, it was originally designed as a sports and racing chronograph. However, it gained legendary status when it became the first watch worn on the moon. In 1969, during the Apollo 11 mission, Buzz Aldrin wore the Speedmaster Professional and it became known as the “Moonwatch.” Since then, the Speedmaster has been a symbol of precision, durability, and adventure, making it one of the most renowned and sought-after timepieces in the world.

The Omega Speedmaster Reduced ‘Schumacher’ series was introduced in 1996. It consisted of a number of ‘Reduced’ Speedmasters with bold dials – yellow, blue and red. The series was discontinued around 2000. This watch received a factory service and is covered by a factory warranty. It also comes complete with box and papers.
