Pre-owned Patek Philippe Aquanaut ref 4960A-010 (2000). Patek released the Aquanaut in the late 1990s, adopting a similar rounded octagonal bezel as the already-established Nautilus and pairing it with a sporty rubber strap and a dial motif unique to the Aquanaut. The result was a similar aesthetic, but fresher and more contemporary, appealing to a younger generation of collectors at the time. Ref. 4960A is a women’s model produced from the late 1990s to around 2007, featuring a 30mm case, calibre E19C quartz-powered movement, and a black “grenade” motif dial with a 3 o’clock date. It’s a rare opportunity to own a compact, early Aquanaut that captures the spirit of Patek’s modern sport-luxury era.
