The TOP GUN is from the more tactical, performance-driven side of IWC’s pilot watch collection, developed for durability, legibility, and reliability under pressure. Inspired by the U.S. Navy’s elite flight school, these models embrace modern materials and military-focused design, and this reference captures that spirit perfectly. The 44.5mm case is made from black ceramic, giving the watch a stealthy matte finish that’s lightweight, scratch-resistant, and instantly recognizable as TOP GUN. A black textile strap keeps the look rugged and comfortable, while the soft-iron inner case provides magnetic resistance, one of the defining features of IWC’s tool-watch heritage. The dial is pure instrument style. It features bold Arabic numerals, day-date display, and a clean tri-compax chronograph layout powered by IWC’s in-house 69380 caliber. This movement has a 46-hour power reserve and brings the TOP GUN series into the modern in-house era for the very first time.
